Union J on their X Factor experience – “It has been a massive rollercoaster”
Triple J now Union J are back..
Triple J have already had quite the reality TV ‘journey’, after trying out for the X Factor 2012 they sailed through the first audition stage but lost out to follow band GMD3 at bootcamp.
At was lost for the the band but wait! Rough Copy who were chosen at boot camp ran into Visa issues (crinimal records anyone?!) and couldn’t leave the country..thus GMD3 dusted off their passports and headed to Las Vegas!
Times Red were also asked along and a change was made to GMD3 who added George Shelley to their line-up and changed their name to Union J – keeping up?
Jamie Hamblett from Union J spoke to his local newspaper The Cambridge News:
“It has just been an amazing experience. It has been a massive rollercoaster for us because we got kicked off then we got brought back in.”
“It is a massive achievement to get as far as we have. I’m just over the moon with what’s happening. It’s just mad coming from racing to this. It’s just a bit surreal. I keep pinching myself.”
You’ll have to tune into the X Factor this weekend to see who makes it through to the live rounds..
