UK SINGLES RELEASES – OCTOBER 2012 – One Direction, Leona and JLS!
UK SINGLES RELEASES – OCTOBER 2012
October is generally a full month for singles releases – then we normally see a gradual tail off towards Christmas before we get a flux of novelty acts and ‘one off’s trying to get to Christmas number one!
Week one will of course be dominated by One Direction – although I do sense that people are focussing more on them more as ‘celebrities’ and less as musicians. Week two sees an important single release for Leona Lewis, after a much delayed start of ‘Glassheart’ we are finally into the singles releases meant to introduce her new music. She’ll be hoping for at least a top ten hit with this one. Week three sees JLS debuting their new sound of the singles chart and then week four sees the return of the UK’s King of Pop – Mr Robbie Williams.
