The Central Jubilee Weekend 2 – 5 June 2012
Saturday 2 June, 2012 - The Queen will attend the Epsom Derby.
Sunday, June 3rd – the big event of the day is centred around the Thames. Over 1,000 boats will gather and sail down the Thames in a huge pageant that starts at around 2pm. This is also the day when street-parties have been suggested to take place.

3.30 – Waterloo Bridge
3.40 – Blackfriars Bridge

Monday, June 4th – perhaps the most exciting day for us pop lovers!
10,000 members of the public will attend a picnic at the Palace at 3pm, they will then watch the concert organised by Gary Barlow and the BBC afterwards.
7.30pm Performers include Sir Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Sir Elton John, Sir Tom Jones, Robbie Williams, Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, JLS and Cheryl Cole. Concert due to end at 10.30pm – this will be on the BBC.
10.30pm 2,012 beacons will also be lit across country, including on each of the four highest peaks in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. First beacon lit on mall at 10.30pm by the Queen. Beacon locations here: http://www.diamondjubileebeacons.co.uk/pages/interactive_map_171898.cfm
Tuesday, June 5th – perhaps the most traditional day and also an extra holiday date for UK citizens. The Queen will be seen being driven to these events.
10.30am Thanksgiving service at St Paul’s with Kate and Will in attendance
11.30am The Queen attends a reception at Mansion House hosted by Lord and Mayor of London.
The rest of the Royal family attend a reception at Guildhall, hosted by City of London.
2.20pm Carriage procession down The Mall
3.30pm The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry appear on the balcony at Buckingham Palace for RAF flypast
